James Lemondine

Psychologist – Mpsych (Educational and Developmental)

James graduated with a Master of Psychology from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Prior to commencing at Kids at Play, James worked for the Victorian Department of Education, in school counselling, youth work and Private Practice.

James has an interest in the learning, mental wellbeing and achievement of children and young people. He will work with children and youth to provide information and individually tailored skills that may aid them in better managing the stressors and changes that arise in life. Families, schools and identified people (e.g., other therapists) may form an essential part of the process.

James is registered as a Psychologist with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Past colleagues have said James is a welcome team member who shows understanding and provides a fun, practical approach, with a focus on helping translate insights and gains made in the therapy room into everyday life. James has a passion for working with people presenting with anxiety, depression, loss and grief, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and academic difficulties.
