Occupational Therapist (BOccThy)

Yani is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOccThy) and a passion for helping children develop the skills they need to engage, play, and thrive in their daily lives. She has experience supporting children with sensory processing challenges, fine and gross motor delays, emotional regulation difficulties, and developmental delays, using a holistic and strengths-based approach.

As a Theraplay®-trained practitioner, Yani integrates attachment-based play therapy into her practice, fostering secure relationships, emotional regulation, and social confidence. Her therapy sessions are interactive, engaging, and designed to build trust, resilience, and positive connections through play.

Yani works across clinic, home, and school environments, providing individualized, goal-driven intervention plans that support children in developing independence in daily tasks, self-regulation, and social participation. She collaborates closely with families, educators, and other allied health professionals to create meaningful, functional therapy outcomes tailored to each child's needs.
