Kate Harris

Occupational Therapist (BOccThy)

Kate is a passionate and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who recently completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOccThy). Before stepping into her role as an OT, she gained valuable hands-on experience working as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), supporting children in developing their fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and independence in daily activities.

Kate brings a fresh and evidence-based approach to therapy, with a strong commitment to helping children reach their full potential. She is dedicated to play-based, child-led interventions, making therapy both fun and meaningful. With a keen interest in early intervention and neurodiversity-affirming practices, Kate tailors her sessions to support each child’s unique strengths and challenges.

Her experience as an AHA has given her a deep understanding of collaborative therapy approaches, working closely with senior therapists, families, and educators to ensure consistent and supportive care. Now, as a new graduate OT, Kate is eager to grow her clinical skills while continuing to provide engaging, individualized therapy that empowers children and their families.

With her warm and energetic approach, Kate is passionate about making therapy a positive and rewarding experience, helping children develop confidence, independence, and the skills they need to thrive.
