Statutory reporting
We are required to share de-identified information (no full name or address) with the Disability Services Commission and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare for statistical purposes only. This will not affect your entitlements or access to services. As an NDA services user, you have the right to access, update or correct your information in the Disability Services National Minimum Data Set.

Under the Children Protection Act 1999, we may be legally required to disclose information without parental consent if there are concerns about a child’s safety or well-being.

We will not use or disclose your information for secondary purposes unless:

  • You have given consent
  • The use is directly related to the primary purpose and reasonably expected
  • Required by Australian law or a court/tribunal order

  • Telehealth differs from face-to-face service delivery

  • You are responsible for your own software, hardware and data costs
  • You must provide your location and names of all people present at the start of each session
